Life is simple, it's only us that make's it complicated by the way we think and behave.
Secret 2 - There is no mountain. When we are faced with a problem or a challenge, if we let our mind freak out about it we can turn a molehill into a mountain. Yes, there will be bumps along the road of life that we have to navigate our way over or around but these are the opportunities that help us to grow and shape our destiny. You have it within your power to choose how you face these challenges.
By walking towards your challenges and facing them calmly you'll soon find a way to overcome any obstacle big or small. Sometimes, all it takes is to step back and look at your situation from another perspective. This might mean talking to other people and asking for their thoughts on the matter. The key is to do whatever it takes to resolve your dilemma as quickly and easily as possible. The more often you do this, the more skilled you will become at handling challenges.
Secret 3 - Learn from children It's natural for children to laugh, cry, play and throw temper tantrums. One moment they can be setting your heart alight with full belly laughs and giggles and the next they can be howling in pain. Either way they are responding naturally to their environment. We are all meant to live this way but unfortunately so many of us seem to have forgotten this simple truth. It's hard to say exactly when we lose touch with this part of us but one things for sure, the moment we start taking life seriously is the moment life gets hard.
Secret 4 - Serious people live serious lives There is a world of difference between being serious and being sincere. Serious people live serious lives. The word serious means somber or grave. It robs us of energy, creativity and happiness. It causes inflexible attitudes and beliefs and results in stressful living. Sincere people however live a heartfelt life that is genuine and honest. They don't tie themselves up in knots over things that don't matter and they do enjoy a more stress free life as a result. So the next time you find yourself being 'serious' stop for a moment and ask yourself what a 'sincere' person what think, say or do in your situation.
Drop all seriousness from your life and just be sincere in everything you do. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll feel like you've dropped a heavy load from your shoulders. Don't just take my word for it, try it today and find out for yourself.
